While working in technology, I enjoyed being part of book clubs that coworkers and I initiated. As part of this, I started to take notes on the books we were reading so they could serve as a kind of Cliffnotes or Sparknotes for my coworkers who didn't have time to do the readings but still wanted to participate. Down the road, I also would revisit some of my notes to refresh my memory, so I began doing this for more books I read. Below are what I call "Fireside Notes" for some of the books I've read.
